Welcome to the WHQ on Golden Pond Farm located in the lakes area of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota.

My husband Bernie and I acquired our 80 acre hobby farm four years ago. We had both grown up on a farm but had been away from the country life during our adult years. Then we experienced a life changing event...we became grandparents! While enjoying our grandchildren we often talked about how nice it would be to have some animals around for them. When the farm came available for sale it was a no brainer. Before we knew it we were the proud owners of WHQ on Golden Pond Farm which includes pastureland, woodland and ponds.

People sometimes ask us what the WHQ stands for....World Headquarters. When they ask of what our answer is, "We don't know but as soon as we figure it out we'll get back to you."

We raise Belted Galloway Cattle, Miniature Babydoll Southdown Sheep, Jacob Sheep and Boer Goats. Added to this are the inevitable farm pets including a pot bellied pig, miniature donkey, chickens, cats, dogs, and horses.
